About this bird watcher gift
Bird watchers are early people. They're up before the sun with a thermos, a pair of binoculars and a notebook that's half field notes, half life list, and they'll stand perfectly still in a cold marsh for an hour for one good look at a warbler. The gifts they keep fit that life: a hoodie for dawn walks in spring and fall, a tee for the weekend trip to the wildlife refuge, a mug that holds the coffee while they wait for the fog to lift. Most of them also keep a favorite, so the best personal touch is a species. Put Barred Owl, Osprey or Cedar Waxwing on the design, or add their name or a life-list count on the second line where a design has one. If you're buying for a club, the Team Shop prints one design with each member's name on it, and the kids' tees suit a young birder tagging along on the morning walk.
All bird watcher gifts →- A hoodie for the dawn shiftEarly morning birding is cold even in May, so a hoodie gets worn more than anything else. Add their name or their favorite species on a design with a second line.
- A mug for the thermos-free momentsAn 11 oz mug with Bird Watcher and their name suits the kitchen window where the feeder hangs. Many bird watchers log the backyard visitors from right there.
- Matching tees for the Christmas Bird Count teamIf they join a group count or a club outing, use the Team Shop to print one design with each person's name. Everyone gets their own size.
- A kids tee for the junior birderA kids T-shirt with a young birder's name on it fits the grandchild who carries the second pair of binoculars. It makes the morning walk feel like a real team.
