About this canton gift
Canton could mean a few different places, so the first thing to pin down is which one your person calls home. A shirt that says Canton is how someone who grew up there, or who still gets homesick for it, claims the name in a crowd. It's the kind of gift that works well for a hometown visit, a reunion or a move away, when the person is far from the streets they know. Add a second line with a neighborhood, a high school class year or the year they left, and it becomes their Canton rather than a generic one. For someone who moved away, a mug on the kitchen counter is a small daily reminder of where they started. A hoodie suits a cold-weather city kid, and a kids tee lets a family share the name with the next generation.
