About this crownpoint gift
Crownpoint is a small town on the Navajo Nation in northwestern New Mexico, and the people who grew up there or still call it home tend to carry it with them. A shirt with the town's name is a way for someone to show where they're from, whether they're a student heading off to college, a relative who moved away for work, or a family that has kept close ties to the place. Because it's a small community, the gift often means more when it's personal: add a family name, a graduation year or a clan name in the second line if you know it. Many designs also come as kids tees and baby onesies, so a whole family can match. A mug works well for a grandparent or an uncle who keeps his coffee in the same chair every morning, and a hoodie suits the cold months, since the high desert gets cold in winter.
