About this dad gift
Dads are famously hard to shop for, mostly because they'll tell you they don't need anything and then wear the thing until it falls apart. The gifts that stick are the ones that say something about how they show up: the grill, the garage, the sideline, the 5 a.m. wake-up calls. A dad tee or hoodie with a line that sounds like him gets worn on every errand run. Put his name on it, or the names of his kids, or the year he became a dad, and it stops being a store-bought joke and starts being his. Father's Day falls on the third Sunday in June, and it's the obvious time to order, but a new-dad onesie set, a birthday mug, or matching shirts for a dad and his little one work any month of the year. If the kids are in on it, a kids tee with the same design makes the photo.
All dad gifts →- A tee with the kids' namesUse the second line for the names of his kids or a year, so the shirt is about his family and not a generic dad joke.
- Matching dad and kid shirtsPick a design that comes as both an adult tee and a kids tee, then print the same line on each. It's an easy way to get a good photo on Father's Day.
- A mug for his coffee spotAn 11 oz mug with Dad and a short line of your own is the one he'll reach for every morning, and it won't get lost in the cupboard.
- A hoodie for a new dadAdd the year his first child was born to a hoodie he can wear through those early-morning feedings. Pair it with a baby onesie that matches.
