About this gill gift
Gill is a short, sturdy name, and the people who carry it tend to hear the same jokes about fish for their whole lives. A shirt with the family name is a way of owning that. It works for reunions, for a family that's grown into a crowd of cousins, and for the grandparents who want their name on something they'll actually use. Add a reunion year, a first name, or the town the family started in on the second line, and the design becomes about a specific group of people rather than a generic surname. Gill is also the name of a few places, so if the family is tied to one of them, you can use that as the extra line. The product choice depends on the moment: light and dark tees for the reunion photo, a hoodie for the cold-weather gathering, a mug for the kitchen where the family ends up anyway.
