About this hamer gift
Hamer is a small name for a place, and people who are from there usually know exactly what it means to say it out loud. A town that size shows up on a map only if you look hard, so a shirt with the name on it is a way of saying where you're from when most people have never heard of it. Hamer people tend to hold on to home, whether they still live nearby or have moved to a city with more traffic and fewer familiar faces. A tee for a weekend in the yard, a hoodie for the first cold snap, or a mug for the morning routine all carry the name somewhere they'll be seen. Add a second line with a year, a street, or a nickname from the high school team and the shirt starts to belong to one person instead of just the place.
