About this kishu gift
A Kishu is a Japanese spitz, a small-to-medium dog with a fox-like face, a curled tail and a coat that comes in red, sesame and white. The breed is rare outside Japan, so most owners have to explain what they've got every time someone asks, which makes a shirt with the breed name a useful conversation starter. A Kishu person is usually devoted to their dog, whether they're out on early walks, hiking trails or grooming a thick double coat that sheds more than you'd expect. A tee or hoodie with Kishu on it fits a day spent with a dog like that, and a mug fits the morning routine. Add the dog's name on a second line and the gift becomes about their particular dog, not just the breed.
