About this museum archivist gift
A museum archivist spends the day with documents, photographs and records that most people will never see, deciding what gets kept, how it's catalogued and how it stays safe for the next century. The work is quiet and careful, and the people who do it often feel their job is invisible until something goes missing. A gift that acknowledges the actual work lands best. A tee with their title as the second line tells them you see what they do. A hoodie is useful in the climate-controlled storage rooms that archives tend to keep cold. A mug suits the desk where they write finding aids and answer reference questions. Adding the institution's name, if you know it, or the year they started, makes the gift specifically theirs. Whatever you choose, type the exact title they use into the text box and check the preview before you order.
