About this phalène gift
A Phalène is a small continental toy spaniel, the same breed as the Papillon but with drop ears instead of the butterfly-wing fringe. Owners tend to be devoted to them: they're lively, affectionate lap dogs who follow their people from room to room and want to be part of everything. Someone who lives with a Phalène already knows the breed's quirks, and a gift that names the dog shows you've paid attention to who they really are. A tee with the breed name or the dog's name on it works for daily walks and dog park days. A hoodie suits the cold morning outing, and a mug is a small daily reminder for the person who starts every morning with a dog at their feet. If you want something more personal, put the dog's name on the second line and the breed on the first, so the gift is clearly theirs.
