About this santee gift
Santee is a small city in San Diego County, and people who grew up there tend to hold onto it. A Santee shirt is how they mark where they're from, whether they still live a few miles away or have moved across the country for work. Santee has its own local pride, and a gift that names the city lands best with someone who has a story about it, like a high school they cheered for or a favorite spot they still drive past. For the one who moved away, a Santee mug on the kitchen counter is a small daily reminder of home. For someone who still lives there, a hoodie for the cool evenings is the kind of everyday piece that gets worn until it falls apart. Add a second line with a street, a school or a year they lived there, and the shirt starts to belong to them.
