About this shingletown gift
Shingletown is a small community in Shasta County, tucked into the northern Sierra Nevada foothills, and the people who live there tend to be proud of how quiet and close-knit it feels. A shirt with the town name is how someone wears that pride to the grocery store, the county fair or a trip out of the area, where it sparks the question everyone who lives there gets sooner or later: where's that? It's a gift for the native who left and misses the mountain air, or for the neighbor who has built a life on the same few roads for decades. Add a second line with a street, a school year or a family name, and the design stops being a town souvenir and becomes theirs. Hoodies suit the cool mornings that come with elevation, and mugs suit the porch coffee that every small town runs on.
