About this sleep technologist gift
Sleep technologists spend their nights awake so that other people can sleep and get diagnosed. They run polysomnography studies, hook up electrodes and monitors, watch the readings through the night and keep patients calm while they try to sleep in a strange room with wires in their hair. It's a quiet job that depends on steady attention, so the gifts that land are the ones that feel like their own. A soft tee or hoodie is good for the drive home after a shift, and a mug is the right choice for the break room, where a sleep lab coffee tends to be cold by 4 a.m. Add their credential, such as RPSGT or RST, if they earned one, and the design stops being a generic job shirt and becomes a record of the work they did to get there. Many people in this field are also new to it, so a gift that marks the start of their career can mean a lot.
All sleep technologist gifts →- A hoodie for night shiftsTheir overnight lab is cold, so a hoodie with sleep technologist on the front is something they'll actually wear on the drive in.
- A mug for the break roomAn 11 oz mug with their name and title keeps their coffee from walking off during a long night.
- A tee with their credentialAdd RPSGT or RST on the second line if they earned it, so the shirt marks the work behind the title.
- A gift for a new techFor someone just starting out, a kids-size or regular tee with their name and the year they started is a small way to celebrate.
