About this sterling city gift
Sterling City is a small town, and people who grew up there tend to carry it with them wherever they go. A shirt with the town name is how a former resident wears their roots to a city job, a college campus or a family reunion across the state. Small-town pride is practical as well as sentimental: the high school team, the county fair, the Friday night gathering spot. If you know the family's history in town, a second line for a graduating class, a street or a years-lived-there range can turn a generic town shirt into their own. Hoodies suit the cold months and kids tees suit a child whose parents want them to remember where they're from. For the person who moved away, an 11 oz mug with the town name is the morning reminder of home. Because I don't know much about this town beyond its name, the detail that matters most is your own: what the town means to them.
