About this supervisor machine gift
A supervisor machine is a job that most people outside the trade have never heard of, which is exactly why a shirt or mug with the words on it lands so well. The person who runs a machine shop, a plant floor or a production line usually spends the day checking on operators, settling schedule problems and keeping an eye on the equipment, so they tend to be on their feet and in and out of loud spaces. A soft tee for the shop floor, a hoodie for the cold break room or an 11 oz mug for the coffee they drink while reviewing the shift board all get used. What makes it theirs is a second line: the shift they run, the line or cell they oversee, or their name. Shop-floor humor is dry and specific, so a design that reads like it came from their own crew usually beats a generic work shirt.
