About this towboat captain gift
A towboat captain spends long stretches on the river pushing barges up and down the system, often with a crew of deckhands and mates, and the hours between locks and landings are long. The gifts that land tend to be practical things they'll reach for on watch or in the galley: a soft tee for off days ashore, a warm hoodie for the cold early-morning pilothouse, a mug that's clearly theirs so it doesn't wander off the boat. Putting the words towboat captain on the front makes the gift about their actual job rather than a generic boat shirt. If you want something more personal, add the name of their vessel or their towing company's river or route on the second line, which is the kind of detail crewmates notice right away. For a whole crew or a retirement send-off, the Team Shop lets you order one design and paste each person's name so everyone gets their own shirt in their own size.
