About this basset hound gift
Basset hounds are the low-slung, long-eared dogs with the sad eyes and the nose that never stops working. They're famously stubborn about walks, happy to lie in a sunny spot for an hour, and they have a deep, mournful bay that carries across the whole block. An owner of one of these dogs has probably already heard every joke about their droopy face, and most would love a gift that treats the breed with the same affection they do. A tee with Basset Hound on the front and the dog's name underneath makes a good everyday shirt for a walk around the neighborhood. A mug with the dog's name suits the owner who starts every morning on the couch next to their hound. For a family that has a pup of its own, a baby onesie or kids tee in the same design lets the newest family member join the club early.
