About this blackduck gift
Blackduck is a small town in northern Minnesota, and the people who call it home tend to be proud of it in a quiet, rooted way. A shirt with the town name is the kind of gift that gets worn to the lake, to the high school game, to the family cabin, and to the gas station on the way out of town. Because the place is small and the people who know it are scattered, a Blackduck design can be the thing that tells a former resident they're still a local. For someone who grew up there and moved away, a mug on the kitchen counter is a daily reminder of where they're from. For someone who still lives there, a hoodie built for northern winters says the same thing without a word. Add a second line with a graduation year, a family name, or the lake they fish on, and the design becomes theirs rather than just a town souvenir.
