About this boones mill gift
Boones Mill is a small town in Franklin County, Virginia, and the people who grew up there tend to hold onto it. A shirt with the town name is how someone wears home to a city where nobody has heard of it, or to a family reunion where everybody already knows. It's a gift for the person who went away for school or work and still comes back for the Christmas parade, or for the one who never left and wears the town like a family name. Small towns build their identity around places people gather, so a design with the town name fits the person who spends weekends at the same diner, the same ballfield or the same church supper. Type the town name as the main line and add a year, the street they grew up on or their own family name on a second line, and the piece becomes theirs. A mug works well for the parent back home, and a hoodie suits the cold months when the gift has to be practical as well as sentimental.
