About this cochecton center gift
Cochecton Center is a small hamlet in Sullivan County, New York, and the people who grew up there or come back to it tend to carry it with them. A shirt with the name on it is a quiet way to say where they're from, whether they're visiting for summer weekends, back for a family gathering, or living a long way off and missing the Delaware River valley. Small places don't show up on many souvenir racks, so a design with the hamlet's name is often the only one of its kind a person owns. Add a second line with a street, a family name or a year they lived there, and the shirt becomes specific to them. For someone who moved away, a mug is the easiest daily reminder. For a kid who's just learning where they're from, a kids tee or onesie makes the question easy to answer.
