About this consulting intern gift
A consulting intern is usually a student or recent grad working long days on decks and spreadsheets, often in a city apartment far from home, and gifts for them tend to be practical and a little bit funny. Consulting culture runs on late nights, client calls and the endless coffee run, so a mug for the early-morning slide review or a hoodie for the air-conditioned office will get real use. The intern role is short and memorable, and many interns want something that marks the summer they got their foot in the door. Add a second line for their school, their start year or the firm's city if you know it. The Team Shop works well if you're buying for a whole intern class: one design, a list of names, and a size for each person.
