About this daphne gift
Daphne isn't a name you see on every mug rack or souvenir shelf, which is half the reason a Daphne gift gets noticed. Whoever she is, a girl in a classroom full of other names, a grandmother who's heard the pun about the laurel tree one too many times, or a baby whose parents picked the name carefully, seeing it printed in full feels a little special. Because it's also a place name for some people, the word can double as a hometown nod, so it's worth asking whether you're shopping for a person or a town. For a birthday, put her name big on a tee and add her age or the year underneath. For a new baby, a onesie with Daphne on it works as an announcement and a keepsake at once. The same design comes in kids sizes, so a mother and daughter can end up with matching shirts.
