About this die maker gift
A die maker builds the steel tools that stamp, cut and form metal parts, often to tolerances measured in thousandths of an inch. They tend to be the person who spots the problem before the press does, and they usually take pride in work that nobody sees once it's installed in a machine. A die maker gift should respect that craft. A tee with their trade on it is a good start, and a hoodie is useful in a cold shop or a drafty machine room. Many shops run long days, so a mug that's clearly theirs is the kind of small thing that gets used every morning. Personalize it with their name and their shop role, such as toolmaker, tool and die or journeyman, so it reads as theirs and not a generic job shirt. If you're buying for a whole crew, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name on their own shirt.
