About this du bois gift
Du Bois is a small town on the Pennsylvania side of the Pennsylvania Railroad country, a place known mostly to the people who grew up there or married into the families who did. Because it's a small place, a shirt with the town name will mean more to the person receiving it than a souvenir tee would. It's the kind of gift that gets worn to the local diner, the high school football game, or the first family reunion after someone moves away. For a recipient who's moved on, a mug with the town name is a daily reminder of home, and for a kid who's proud of where they're from, a kids tee with the name on the front starts a conversation at school. Add a second line with a graduation year, a street or a family name, and you turn the town name into something only the two of you share.
