About this float nurse gift
A float nurse gets reassigned to a new unit almost every shift, so they're learning new charting systems, new coworkers and new break room layouts all the time. A gift that feels like it belongs to them is one that travels well: a tee for the long drive between floors, a hoodie for the freezing ICU hallway, a mug that's clearly theirs so it doesn't get lost on a unit they visited once. Float nurses often feel like outsiders, so putting their name on something tends to land well. Add RN or their credential if they have one, and maybe a line like Float Pool or Resource Nurse. That tells coworkers who they are and what they do without a long explanation. If you're buying for a whole float pool, one design with each nurse's name on their own shirt in the Team Shop is a simple way to make the group feel like a team.
All float nurse gifts →- A tee for the float lifePut their name on the front and Float Nurse or Float Pool underneath, so new units know who just walked in.
- A name mug for the moving shiftAn 11 oz mug with their name is one thing that always comes back to them, even after a week across three units.
- Matching shirts for the float poolPick one design in the Team Shop and paste the pool's names. Everyone gets their own size and name.
- A hoodie for cold hallwaysFloat nurses are often stuck in the coldest rooms in the building, so a warm hoodie with their name on it is a practical pick.
