About this metter gift
Metter is a small city in Candler County, Georgia, and people who grew up there tend to carry the name with them, whether they stayed in town or moved to Savannah, Atlanta or somewhere much farther away. A shirt with Metter on it is how someone shows they're from a place where everybody knows the high school mascot and the Sunday church crowd. For a homesick transplant, a mug with the town name is a morning reminder of where they started. For someone who still lives there, a hoodie or tee is an easy everyday way to claim the place. Add a second line for a graduation year, a family name or a street, and the shirt goes from a town souvenir to something that belongs to one person. Metter is a place where a gift tied to home lands far better than anything generic.
