About this new germantown gift
New Germantown is a small place, and that's the first thing to remember before buying a shirt for someone from there. A town this size tends to mean that people know each other, that the local high school and the church bulletin matter, and that folks who leave often keep a tight connection to where they grew up. A New Germantown shirt tells everyone which town you mean, which is useful when the name is less familiar than the big cities. Many people from smaller towns wear their hometown with pride, for a homecoming, a family reunion or a trip back to visit. A hoodie fits the cooler months, and a mug suits the person who misses home. Because I know little about this town's specific history or landmarks, the best personal touch is the one you add: a street, a family name, a graduation year or the year they moved away.
