About this phd intern gift
A PhD intern is usually a doctoral student or recent PhD working a short stint at a company, lab, or research institute, often over a summer. They're juggling a dissertation, a stipend, and a new team that expects them to ship something useful in twelve weeks. A gift that marks the work without pretending it's a full-time job tends to land well. A tee for the lab bench, a hoodie for cold server rooms and late nights, or a mug for the coffee that keeps them going through the write-up. Put the title on it, phd intern, and maybe a second line with their field or the year. It's the kind of detail that makes a gift feel like it was picked for them, not for the generic grad student.
All phd intern gifts →- A tee for the lab benchPut phd intern on a light or dark tee, and add their field on the second line if you know it.
- A hoodie for long daysInternships at research sites often mean early starts and cold rooms, so a warm hoodie does real work.
- A mug for the write-upAn 11 oz mug with their title gives them something to hold through the dissertation chapters they're fitting in between tasks.
- A kids tee for a jokeIf they've got a young family, a kids tee with their title is a small, funny nod to the parent who is also a researcher.
