About this piermont gift
Piermont is a small village on the Hudson River in Rockland County, New York, and the people who live there tend to be proud of their waterfront and their hometown feel. A gift for someone from Piermont works best when it points to that place itself: the river, the village, the everyday life of walking the pier and grabbing coffee on Main Street. Because it's a small place, many people who grew up there or moved away carry a strong attachment to it, and a Piermont shirt or mug is a simple way to say you know where they're from. Add a second line like a street name, a year they moved in or left, or a family name, and the design becomes personal rather than generic. For someone who has moved away, a mug with Piermont on it is a quiet reminder of home every morning.
