About this schapendoes gift
The Schapendoes is a Dutch herding dog with a shaggy, slightly wavy coat and a cheerful, busy temperament, bred to work sheep on the farms of the Netherlands. Owners often say they're smart, eager to please and happiest when they have a job, whether that's a herding trial, a long hike or a game of fetch in the yard. Because the breed is less familiar than a Lab or a Golden, a Schapendoes shirt or mug tends to start conversations at the dog park. The most personal gifts for an owner usually add something specific to their own dog: a name on the second line, the year they brought the puppy home, or a note about a favorite activity. Many of the designs here have a second line for exactly that. Hoodies suit the owner who walks their dog in cold weather, and a mug is an easy pick for the kitchen where the dog waits for breakfast.
All schapendoes gifts →- A tee with their dog's namePut the dog's name or the year they got the puppy on the second line, so the shirt is about their own Schapendoes.
- A hoodie for dog walksA warm hoodie for the owner who spends every cold morning out on the trail with their dog.
- A mug for the dog lover at homeAn 11 oz mug with the breed on it, for the owner who starts every morning with coffee and a dog at their feet.
- A kids tee for a young dog fanIf the owner's child loves their family's Schapendoes, a kids tee lets them wear the breed too.
