About this design engineering intern gift
A design engineering intern is usually in the middle of something big and a little scary: learning the CAD tools, sitting in on design reviews where everyone talks faster than they can follow, and trying to make a first prototype actually work. They're often juggling school or a return-to-school schedule while they do it, and they tend to show up early and stay late to prove they belong. What helps most is a gift that acknowledges that stretch without being corny about it. A tee or hoodie they can wear to the lab or the studio says they're part of the team now, and a mug for the desk gives them a small daily reminder that the work is theirs. Put their name or the program they're in on it, and the gift stops being generic and starts sounding like someone who knows what this internship means to them.
All design engineering intern gifts →- A hoodie for the lab or studioWarm enough for a cold prototype shop or a long review, and something they can wear on the days they're not in a suit.
- A mug for the deskAn 11 oz mug with their name becomes their coffee spot during late-night model revisions and early design reviews.
- A tee for the first day backA soft shirt they can wear on the first day of a new rotation or the first day back at school.
- A kids or baby tee for a family jokeIf their family is still teasing them about the engineering, a playful tee with their title makes the point for you.
