About this account engineer gift
An account engineer lives between the customer and the product, and the job looks different depending on who's holding the title. Some are the technical half of a sales team, running demos and answering the hard questions on a call. Others manage the engineering side of a client account and keep a project on track. Either way, they spend their days translating, and they probably have a laptop bag full of stickers to prove it. The gifts they keep are the ones that nod to that in-between role without being corny. A soft tee for the casual-Friday video call, a hoodie for the over-air-conditioned office, a mug that sits on the desk through every quarterly review. Put their title on it, or the specialty that fills their calendar: cloud, networking, security, manufacturing. Add a name and it's theirs. If you're buying for the whole team, one design with everyone's name makes a good kickoff or end-of-quarter gift.
