About this administrative internship gift
An administrative intern is usually the person who knows where everything is by week two. They answer the phones, sort the mail, build the spreadsheet, book the conference room, and learn the names of forty people they'd never met before June. It's a job with a lot of small tasks and not much applause, so a gift that says you noticed goes a long way. Good moments to give one: the first week, when they're still figuring out the coffee machine, the last day, or the day they get a full-time offer. Put their name on a tee or hoodie, or add the department, the company's city or the year of the internship underneath. A mug fits a desk that isn't quite theirs yet. If you manage a whole intern class, the Team Shop lets you print one design with each person's name and size, so the group looks like a group by the end of the summer.
All administrative internship gifts →- A mug for their borrowed deskAn 11 oz mug with their name on it gives an intern something that's theirs from the first morning, and it goes home with them in August.
- A tee with the internship yearAdd the year or the summer on the second line, so it works as a keepsake once the badge has to be returned.
- Matching shirts for the intern classPick one design in the Team Shop and paste the names of everyone in the cohort. Each person gets their own name and their own size.
- A hoodie for the last dayOffice air conditioning is cold, and a hoodie with their name or department is a send-off they'll wear well past the end of the internship.
