About this admissions advisor gift
Admissions advisors spend their days walking nervous seventeen-year-olds and their even more nervous parents through the biggest decision they've faced so far. They answer the same questions about deadlines and applications with fresh patience every time, and they're the ones who get the happy email months later. A gift for them works best when it's comfortable and a little funny, something for campus tour days, college fair season and the long push before application deadlines. Put their name on it, or the school or department they work for, or a line like Dream Maker or Advisor in Chief. It reads as something chosen for them, not grabbed off a rack. A mug is a safe bet for the desk where the coffee never gets cold because the phone never stops. For a whole admissions office, one shared design with each person's name makes a good team gift before the busy season starts.
