About this art gallery intern gift
An art gallery intern is usually the person who shows up early, stays late, and does the unglamorous work that makes an opening night look effortless: hanging labels, logging incoming pieces, answering the same visitor question for the fifth time. Most of them are students or recent graduates building a career one unpaid or low-paid week at a time, and they tend to be proud of the job even when it's tiring. A gift that acknowledges that quiet effort lands well. Think about what they actually carry around: a sketchbook, a laptop for the catalog work, a coffee they're nursing between installations. Put their role on the design and the gift becomes a small nod to the path they've chosen. You can add a second line with their name, the gallery's city, or a year, so it reads as theirs and not as a generic arts shirt. A good gift for someone starting out is something they can wear to the gallery on the first day and to the studio the day after.
