About this civil engineering co op gift
A civil engineering co-op is someone splitting their time between the classroom and a real job site, usually a few semesters in a row. They're learning to read drawings in a trailer on a muddy lot, sorting out how a culvert drains, and figuring out why the concrete schedule slipped. Most co-op students are juggling a work week, a course load and a lot of uncertainty about where they'll land after graduation. A gift that marks this stage works well: something they can wear to the site, bring to a long day in the field, or keep at the desk during a rotation. Put co-op on the shirt, and add civil engineering or the year they started so it reads as theirs. Co-ops often go on for months, so a hoodie or mug can feel like a small acknowledgment that the hard part of the program is being noticed.
