About this delicatessen supervisor gift
A delicatessen supervisor is the person who keeps the counter running while everyone else is slicing, weighing and smiling at the line. They're usually up before the shop opens, checking the case, the prep schedule and the deli meat that has to be sliced fresh every morning, and they're often the one who knows which regular wants extra mustard before they ask. Most gifts for someone in food service end up in a drawer, so aim for something they'll actually reach for. A tee or hoodie is good for the long shift and the early drive in. A mug is the reward for the first quiet cup before the lunch rush. Add a second line with the shop name, the store number, or the year they took the job, and it stops being a generic work shirt and becomes theirs.
