About this dev manager gift
A dev manager usually started out writing code and still gets pulled into the sprint that's on fire. They run standups, untangle roadmaps, argue for the time to pay down tech debt, and somehow end up in every hiring loop. Most of their day is conversation, so the gifts they keep tend to be the ones that get a laugh from the team as much as from them. A tee with dev manager on it works for the office, the weekend, and the conference they're sent to. A hoodie is the right pick for the cold open-plan floor or the long on-call night. A mug on their desk is the one that survives every reorganization. Add a second line for their team name, the company's old code name, or the year they took over the group. That turns a job title into an inside joke only their people will get.
