About this environmental field technician gift
Environmental field technicians spend their days outdoors collecting water, soil and air samples, sometimes in waders, sometimes in a hard hat on a remediation site, and often with a clipboard that's been rained on more than once. A gift that works for them is practical and a little rugged: a tee they can wear on a sampling day, a hoodie for the cold early-morning starts, a mug for the truck cab where the coffee is always going cold. The title is the part people tend to get wrong. Field techs are sometimes called field scientists, environmental technicians or field specialists depending on the employer, so use the wording they actually put on their business cards. Add their name or their company's crew name on a second line, and the shirt looks like it came from someone who knows the job rather than a generic outdoor gift.
All environmental field technician gifts →- A tee for sampling daysA dark or light tee with environmental field technician on the front and their name underneath keeps them recognizable on a crowded site.
- A hoodie for early startsField work often begins before sunrise, so a hoodie with their title is something they'll actually reach for before the truck is loaded.
- A mug for the truckAn 11 oz mug with their name stays in the cup holder through a long day of driving between sample sites.
- A kids tee for a future field techIf a young relative is curious about rivers and soil, a kids tee with the same title is a fun way to share the job.
