About this extension professor gift
An extension professor usually works at the edge of a university, taking research-based knowledge out to farms, 4-H clubs, county offices and community kitchens. They spend a lot of their time driving between counties, teaching workshops in church basements and answering questions from people who have been doing the work longer than they have. A gift that fits that life is one that recognizes both the campus and the countryside. A tee with their title on it is a fine start, but adding their county, their program area or the university they represent makes it specifically theirs. Extension people are proud of the outreach mission, so a mug for the office or a hoodie for the field day tends to get used and talked about. Check the designs for the word and pick the one whose second line you can fill with something true about their work.
