About this floor nurse gift
A floor nurse is the one who knows every patient's name, every IV line and which call light means trouble. Most shifts involve a lot of standing, a lot of walking and very little sitting down, so the gifts that get used are the practical ones. A soft tee for the drive home, a hoodie for the chilly break room, and a mug that's clearly theirs so it doesn't disappear into the staff kitchen. What lands best is something that shows you understand the job. Put their name on it, or add their unit, med-surg, telemetry, or whatever their floor is called. If they have a credential like RN or BSN, adding it makes the shirt theirs instead of a generic nurse design. If you're buying for a whole floor, one design with each nurse's name printed on their own shirt is a far better gift than another round of pizza. Nurses Week falls in early May, and that's the busiest time to order.
All floor nurse gifts →- A tee with their floor on itChange the second line to their unit, such as med-surg or step-down. It's the detail coworkers notice first.
- A name mug for the break roomAn 11 oz mug with their name keeps it from being swapped with the next nurse's coffee.
- Matching shirts for the whole floorPick one design in the Team Shop and paste the names. Everyone gets a shirt in their own size.
- A hoodie for the long winter shiftsPut their name and RN on a hoodie they'll reach for before the cold hospital hallways.
