About this grips gift
Grips are the people who keep the playing field and the club moving, often hauling bags, wiping down equipment and working outdoors in every kind of weather. Ask a grip what they actually want on a gift and you'll usually hear something practical: a shirt that holds up to sweat and sun, a hoodie for the cold early shifts, a mug for the long days between setups. What lands best is the detail that shows you know the work. Put their name on it, or add a crew or production name in the second line, so the shirt feels like theirs rather than a generic crew shirt. Many grips work on film, TV and event sets, where crew gear gets passed around, so a name on the front is a small defense against the lost-sweatshirt problem. Choose a dark tee if they live in black, a light tee for the summer load-ins, or a hoodie for the late nights.
