About this is director gift
A director is someone who spends their days holding a whole production together, whether that's a stage show, a film set, a school play, a hospital department or a company's operations. They're usually the first in and the last out, and they carry the weight of other people's deadlines. The gifts that land are the ones that acknowledge that job without being solemn about it. A soft tee for the long rehearsal days, a hoodie for the cold early mornings on set, or a mug for the desk where the planning happens. Pick the title that's really theirs, whether it's Artistic Director, Director of Photography or Executive Director, and add their department or company on a second line if the design has room. That small detail turns a generic director shirt into something that feels made for them, and it's the kind of thing a colleague notices and remembers.
