About this lisw gift
An LISW is a Licensed Independent Social Worker, someone who has finished graduate school, completed supervised clinical hours and passed the licensing exam, and who now carries a caseload of real people in hard moments. Their days often mix therapy sessions, crisis calls, paperwork and the drive between appointments, so the gifts they keep tend to be the ones that feel like they were picked by someone who understands that load. A soft tee they can wear to a client-facing day, a hoodie for the chilly commute and the late-evening documentation push, or a mug for the first coffee before the first session all fit that rhythm. Putting LISW on the front is the detail that matters, since it names the credential they earned rather than a generic job title. If you'd like to make it more personal, the second line is a good place for a year they got licensed or a specialty they practice in. Their credential is the thing they worked hardest for, and that's what the shirt should show.
