About this manager dish gift
A dish manager keeps the back of the house running. They're the one who knows which machine is about to fail, which crate of glassware is down to the last box, and how many racks a Friday rush will take before the sinks back up. The job means hot water, wet floors, early call times and a lot of stacking and sorting, so the gifts that land are the ones that feel like they were picked by someone who has stood at that sink. A soft tee for the shift, a hoodie for the cold walk-in, or a mug for the one quiet cup of coffee before the dinner service starts. To make it theirs, put dish manager on the front and add the restaurant name, their first name, or the year they took the job on the second line. It turns a generic work shirt into a small mark of respect for the person who keeps the kitchen moving.
