About this obstetrics technician gift
Obstetrics technicians are the people who make the labor and delivery floor run: they're the ones checking monitors, setting up rooms, keeping new parents calm at three in the morning, and often knowing a patient's birth plan better than anyone else on the unit. Their shifts are long and their feet hurt, so the gifts they keep tend to be practical and a little personal. A soft tee for the drive home, a hoodie for the chilly break room, a mug that's clearly theirs so it doesn't wander off to the nurses' station. Putting their title on it is the obvious choice, and it's a good one, but the detail that lands hardest is the unit or the certification they worked for. If you type in their credential, such as CNA or their unit name, the design stops being a generic job shirt and becomes theirs. It's also a job that often gets overlooked, so a gift that simply says they're seen can mean a lot.
