About this occup therapist gift
Occupational therapists spend their days helping people relearn the ordinary tasks that an injury, a stroke, a developmental delay or a hard year took away: buttoning a shirt, getting dressed for school, holding a fork, getting back to work. They work in hospitals, schools, clinics and home health, and the wins they chase are small and specific, which is part of why a generic therapy shirt can feel like it misses the point. What tends to land better is something that acknowledges the work itself. Use the occupational therapist wording as it appears on their design, or add the setting they practice in, pediatrics, hand therapy or geriatrics, on the second line. If they've earned a credential like OTR or COTA, you can type that in too, using their credential rather than assuming one. A mug for the clinic break room or a hoodie for cold early-morning home visits both feel more personal than another stethoscope or heart design would.
All occup therapist gifts →- A tee with their practice areaAdd pediatrics, hand therapy or geriatrics on the second line so the shirt matches the kind of work they do.
- A mug for the clinicAn 11 oz mug gives them a daily reminder of the work they're proud of and keeps their coffee off the shared counter.
- A hoodie for long daysHome visits and school campuses are cold in the morning, so a hoodie is practical as well as personal.
- A shirt for a new graduateAdd their credential and graduation year to mark the start of their first job as an occupational therapist.
