About this pca gift
PCAs, or patient care assistants, are the people who keep hospital and nursing home days moving. They help with bathing, meals, mobility and vitals, and they're often the ones patients recognize first and ask for by name. The job is physical and hands-on, with long shifts on your feet and a lot of lifting and turning, so comfort matters. A soft tee for the commute, a hoodie for the chilly unit or the drive home, and a mug for the break room all get used every week. Many PCAs are working toward nursing school or already training on the floor, so a shirt that carries their title and their own name feels like it's about who they are and where they're headed, not just a uniform. If you're buying for a whole crew, one design with each person's name on their own shirt is a simple way to say thanks.
