About this research program intern gift
A research program intern is usually early in a career that's mostly bench time, long data sessions and reading papers at odd hours. They're learning the lab's routines, figuring out which questions are worth chasing, and often doing it on a stipend and a lot of nerve. A gift that acknowledges that stage tends to land well. A soft tee for lab days, a hoodie for the cold floor of a building that runs its air conditioning hard, or a mug for the first coffee of a long experiment. Put the words research program intern on the design, or add their lab or the season they started in a second line, and it becomes a small marker of the work they're doing now. If you're buying for a whole cohort of interns at once, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name on their own shirt, which is a nice way to mark the end of a summer program.
