About this director implementation gift
A director of implementation is the person who takes a plan that looked clean in a slide deck and makes it actually work, usually under a deadline and with a few stakeholders who want it to happen yesterday. Their days are spent between vendors, engineers, customers and the people who will have to live with the change once it's live. Gifts that land for them tend to be practical and a little wry about the job. A hoodie for the long rollout weeks, a tee for the team kickoff or a Friday outing, or a mug for the desk where the go-live checklist lives. Putting their title on it, or the project or team name in the second line, makes it theirs. Choosing the exact title they use matters more than making it sound grand, so it's worth checking their business card or email signature before you order.
