About this instructional developer gift
Instructional developers build the courses, modules and training materials that other people end up learning from, and most of their work happens behind the scenes. They interview subject matter experts, draft storyboards, test the quizzes and revise the same slide deck more times than anyone will ever know. A gift that names their job tells them someone noticed the effort. A tee with instructional developer across the front is a good fit for the days they're on a video call with a reviewer, and a hoodie works for the long stretch before a launch when the office runs cold. Many people in this role also carry a title line like learning designer or e-learning specialist, so you can add that second line to make it theirs. For the one who spends every day making other people's learning click, a mug with their job title on it is a small, honest way to say that the work shows.
